 Flo Clucas at ELDR Council meeting

President of the ALDE Group, Mrs Flo Clucas, addressing the audience at the ELDR Council meeting in Dresden in May 2011. She discusses the added value of cohesion policy and how it can change regions and cities. Cohesion funding enables communities to live up to their potential and to reinvigorate themselves by creating more jobs and growth. European cohesion funds are solidarity funds in that they provide for poorer regions to tackle their financial and social problems. Flo Clucas uses Liverpool, her native city, as an example of how European funds have changed people and their futures.
