At a meeting with
Stephen Gethins MP and SNP spokesperson on Europe in Westminster, the EA group Vice President
Stewart Maxwell said that the SNP would strongly promote the UK remaining in the European Union saying Europe was good for Scotland and Scotland good for Europe.
The meeting also discussed how to increase cooperation between Westminster and the EU Committee of the Regions with a range of cooperation initiatives discussed.
