"My Region, my Environment"
 
Article 1 – Members of the EA group have decided to launch the second project of the EA group for the year 2012 with the theme "My Region, my Environment".
 
Article 2 – Only primary schools who have been nominated by a full CoR member of the EA group can participate in the competition.
 
Article 3 - This competition is open to all children of the 6 -12 years age group, residing and attending the school nominated by an EA member to participate in the competition.
 
Article 4 – The participants are invited to create a drawing, expressing their vision on the theme of the Competition.
 
Article 5 - The drawing has to be produced on an A3 size sheet and only on one side of the sheet.
 
Article 6 -The first name, the last name and the age of the child, should be written on the
back of the drawing, together with his/her class and the address of the school.
 
Article 7 - A jury composed of an art teacher and minimum two other teachers in every nominated primary school will select the best three drawings.
 
Article 8 -The deadline for receipt of the best three drawings is 26 October 2012. Best drawings should be submitted by the coordinators of the drawing competition from each nominated primary school to the EA Group Secretariat (Rue Belliard 101, JDE 4101, 1040-Brussels, Belgium)
 
Article 9 – A prize will be offered to the best three winners from each nominated primary school.
 
Article 10 - The drawings of the winners will be published in a booklet and postcards will be produced
and distributed in the schools of the participating countries.
 
Article 11 - The participants understand that the copyright of the pictures will be retained by the EA group in the Committee of the Regions.
 
Article 12 - The EA group in the Committee of the Regions will keep the drawings submitted. The participants will not have right of return.
 
Article 13- The EA group in the Committee of the Regions can not be held responsible for force majeure, should the competition have to be modified or cancelled.
 
Article 14 – Submission of an entry assumes the acceptance of all competition conditions by the participants. No appeal on the organisation or on the results of the competition will be accepted. The jury's decisions will be final.
 
Article 15 – The competition's rules will be provided to all participants' schools and/or children.
