Regions and Cities Shaping Industrial Policy in the Globalisation Era

At the launch of the Europe 2020 strategy, the EPP Group in the Committee of the Regions made a call for all levels of government to be engaged on an equal footing in its design and implementation.

In this endeavour of having a partnership-based strategy which delivers on the ground, and in the context of the European Week of Cities and Regions – OPEN DAYS - the EPP-CoR Group dedicated a specific seminar to the "industrial policy for a globalisation era" flagship initiative.

Visions on a new industrial policy for Europe and concrete case studies were presented by regions and cities, demonstrating their contribution to shaping implementing industrial policy in the globalisation era.
