EA member and Councillor of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Region (Poland) Mr Adam Banaszak, while addressing the Vice President of the European Commission and Commissioner for EU Industry, Antonio Tajani, welcomed his resolute intention to tackle the challenges lying ahead of European business and SMEs in these difficult times of crisis.
However, he pointed out, that the he "cannot accept any solutions where an increase in funding allocations for the EU industrial policy, result in reducing support to agriculture policy regimes."The issue of food security and support to farmers is pivotal and cannot be overlooked", declared the Councillor of Kujawsko-Pomorskie Region.
