Forty two students and teachers participated in the CoR plenary session as their prize for winning the latest EA group led Secondary Schools competition.  The students met members of the European Alliance group and presented their regions and schools.  They were welcomed to the plenary by the CoR President.

The European Alliance group President said that this was a hugely important competition as there is a need for the EU to engage with the young people and it is via visits such as this that a better understanding is received by members of the needs of young people and indeed the students were able to get a deepte insight into the working of the EU institutions, in particular the CoR.
