''Europe for Her: empowering women in regions and cities'', a conference organized by the trainees of the Committee of the Regions as part of the Y factor project, was held on the 21st of January in the CoR building in Brussels. Its main purpose was to debate about the role that local and regional authorities have to play in the gender equality issues, and how to address the obstacles that impact on women's daily lives.

The conference was divided into 4 different panel debates. EA member Gillian Ford intervened as a speaker on the panel about the education and the career, where she pointed out the necessity of full equipment for equality in learning, pushing the education to be the starting point of the social development.
