During the CIVEX meeting in Barcelona on 26 April, CoR members will adopt opinions on potential candidate countries to EU and on the protection of the rights of child in the European Union.
As regards the main points of the agenda, EA coordinator Mr Szwabski, welcomes the upcoming discussions on the Eastern Partnership initiatives which will primarily focus on the situation in Georgia and Moldova. Other countries will be dealt with at the next meeting. Mr Szwabski looks forward to participating in the 27 April seminar on the Stockholm Programme which aims, amongst the other things, to reinforce the European Area of freedom Security and Justice.
