​The newly elected President of the European Economic and Social Committee Seamus Boland presented his priorities to the EA Group on the 10th February where he also focused on areas of possible cooperation such as Cohesion, Agriculture, Rural development, housing and eradicating poverty, to name but a few areas.  Nanette Maupertuis congratulated Seamus on his election and committed to further engagement to ensure we deliver the policies that are essential to our regions.​​
