On 22 March 2021, NAT commission's President presented the Rural Agenda and Health issues as the main priorities for the following years. The NAT Members also debated how to reinforce in current times the EU's resilience, they closely examined cross-border health threats and proposed in the opinion how to define a strategy for the European pharmaceutical industry. During the debate hey shared experiences and lessons-learned by regions and cities during the pandemic.


The members also called to give to local authorities a key role in the management of funds aimed at strengthening the health sector as well as a better representation. 

The EA coordinator for NAT Commission, Mr Dariusz Strugała, Mayor of Jaraczewo in Poland, expressed his support for the choice of the commission's priorities and highlighted the importance of putting emphasis on health in current circumstances.
