​The Presidents of the biggest associations of rural communes from Poland and Romania meets to discuss further cooperation between both associations.

On 14 June 2016 Mr Emil Drăghici, President of the Romanian Association of Rural Communes and Mr Marek Olszewski, President of Union of Rural Communes of the Republic of Poland the largest national Polish and Romanian organizations bringing together rural and urban-rural communes met to discuss further cooperation between both associations.

The common primary objective of the associations is to integrate local governments in rural and solving common problems of the environment. Both Presidents agreed to introduce the systematic contacts in view to straighten their cooperation.
