Mr Jerzy Zająkała, Mayor of Łubianka and European Alliance President used the CoR bureau of Vallodolid to call on the European Commission to provide funding for signatory cities and regions to the Covenant of Mayors to be able to achieve the aims set out in the Covenant.  He made this call during a debate in which CoR bureau members had the opportunity to review the competitive, connected and greener economic model that was put forward following the recent Copenhagen Summit.
