Speaking after the intervention of Commissionar Cioloş during June plenary session, Mr Zająkała, President of the EA Group, stressed that agriculture represents an important field for employment, and should continue to do so in the future. He also suggested to maintain the current structure of the 2nd pillar of the Common Agricultural Policy, which allocates separate resources for the development of rural areas. He asked Commissionar for more balanced policy between rural and urban areas.
