The EA/CoR Secondary schools competition continues, reaching its 6th edition in 2011.

Secondary schools nominated by members of the EA group will be organizing the two stages competition, the first part focusing on the structure and functioning of the European Institutions, the second's aim being to familiarize the participants with the European Year of Volunteering.

Participants of the competition are asked to write an essay on the topic:

• How should we increase participation in volunteering in the region?

The first two winners from each participating school will attend a two days study visit in Brussels, visiting the Committee of the regions, meeting members of the EA group, taking a look into the work of the CoR.
